What Is StreamEast? Background and Legal Ways to Follow Sports

Last updated

Many people search for "StreamEast" when they want to know what games are on today. This page explains the background of the name and how StreamEast Guide fits in.

Background

StreamEast was the name used by a network of unlicensed sports-streaming websites. In September 2025, the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE), an anti-piracy coalition of media companies, announced that it had worked with authorities to shut the network down. Since then, many unrelated websites have copied the name.

How StreamEast Guide is different

StreamEast Guide is not connected to that network or to any website copying its name. It is a schedule guide: it tells you which games are on, when they start in your timezone and how they finished. It does not provide, embed or link to streams.

Finding a legal way to watch

Broadcast rights are sold country by country, so the right service depends on where you live. Good places to start:

  • The official league or competition website. Most leagues publish a "where to watch" page listing their licensed broadcasters in each country.
  • League-run services, where available in your country. Several major leagues and series sell their own subscriptions.
  • Free-to-air television. Some events, especially national-team matches and finals, are shown on free channels in many countries.

Availability and prices change, so always check the official source for your region.
